5 Things Only Old Souls Will Understand

The purpose of this guide is not to try to exclude certain groups of individuals from one another or appeal to a certain kind of audience. Some people are only old souls and have to be accepted as such. If you’re one of the people who gets called mad for believing you can sense people’s energy, or even a hermit for needing to have time alone, or even a ‘weirdo’ for thinking in other things, the best thing you can do is remain true for yourself.

As an old soul, trying to conform to a society that’s emotionally and hollow void will only cause you pain and discomfort. Do not let authority figures or associations force you to betraying your passions, needs, and natural state of being.

Here are 5 things that only old spirits will know:

1. The need for seclusion and isolation.

Every old soul knows the extreme value of taking the time away in life, people, and obligation and spending some time alone in isolation. Life can be overwhelming occasionally, and the energies of different folks can be exhausting. Spending time alone in nature, or sitting by yourself on a park bench, or spending all day in your room are matters that have become mandatory for your spiritual wellbeing at times.

Some people may call you a hermit or say that you’re socially contested, but you just know the worth of spending time alone to detox, reflect, and nurture yourself.

2. The desire for growth.

More than joy and living, you want to live a life which promotes growth and expansion. You appreciate growth and experience so much that you’re ready to experience pain, suffering, and depression in order to find out more about your self.

You take risks and go on adventures that other people can think are unwise, but playing it safe is just too boring for you. By the end of your journey here on earth, you’d really like to have had a life full of ups and downs, suffering and joy, and amazing adventures as opposed to having experienced a life playing it safe.

3. Being highly observational and intuitive.

From a young age, you have been able to find a excellent read on people. From watching someone interact for just a few minutes, you are able to identify the characteristics that person would have and also the lifestyle that they live. It’s almost like you have this software that allows you to look about and download the information on other souls. This is because you’ve observed the archetype of this individual before in a past lifetime and are knowledgeable about the overall behaviour and psychology of the archetype. You have interacted with thousands of people throughout the course of your spirits history, so there is really no archetype you have not interacted with yet.

This does not mean you are judgmental, it merely means you’re observational. You may end up at parties or social events looking around every once in a while checking things out. Watching people interact, observing the exchanges of energy which are occurring during conversation. You might even feel more comfortable as a remote observer than as a participant. It seems natural to you.

Possessing the ability to find a fantastic read on individuals has also given you a really good bullsh*t detector. You notice the disassociation in their eyes, the change in their own energy field, the change in the manner in which that they pronounce words. You’ve been through this place many times previously, so you aren’t socially naive, even though you might haven’t had much social conversation within this life. You’ve always been hard to control because you can see into the real intentions and needs of other people. You are only good at setting out people intuitively.

Some people can call you creepy or believe you’re a wackjob for attempting to be psychic, but it comes naturally to you to pick up on the ideas and energies of different people.

4. The rejection for anything ‘mainstream’.

Mainstream music is heartless, passionless, and cleaned up. Mainstream media is polluted, biased, and deceptive. The Egyptian lifestyle is dry, boring, and unsatisfactory. Because you recognize this, you’ve adopted ‘alternative’ ways of living and thinking which may observed weird to other people.

As for me, I listen to lots of atmospheric metal and post-rock since it offers me what I desire to get from audio and existentially. I can not stand the radio. I remember showing some folks the songs I liked and having them reply with “that’s not even music”. I’m sure I’m not alone in knowing exactly what it feels like to feel excluded based on your choice beliefs, preferences, and preferences.

5. The appreciation of the journey.

You have learned to trust and appreciate the journey. You realize that life is impermanent and don’t take anything for granted. Others around you don’t understand why you like spending time in nature so much, why you meditate too frequently, or why you stare at the stars all of the time, but that’s since they are simply overly preoccupied with worldly things to find the big picture.

If you identify with any or all of those 5 items, then you can be confident you’re either mature beyond your years or you’ve lived a life or two on this planet previously. The vast majority of the human population doesn’t know these 5 things, and actually takes pleasure in ridiculing and making fun of those who don’t seem to fit in.

You are not trying to be different, psychic, intuitive, or profound. Your spirit is merely hardwired a different manner. Don’t let anyone tell you that you need to alter to match the expectations of the world around you. The planet doesn’t need additional carbon copies. It needs more individuals following the things that make their spirits come alive.
